In 2005 I stumbled across an intriguing article on how to access networked security cameras with a simple Google search.

I took countless screen captures.

Eventually, I compiled my favorites into a Flickr set that I just recently rediscovered. I felt the project deserved its own blog, hence what you are reading now.

Here is my original description of the set:

I've always been interested in the concept of found photos, so I jumped at the chance to access networked security cameras all over the world & capture images from them. The framing & composition of those cams I could program are my own, though the cams themselves are found.

I will try to post a new still or set of stills from each camera found every month or so. All captions will be taken from the original image posts.
